The National Security Sector provides technology-enabled services and mission software to defense and intelligence customers in cyber, logistics, security operations, and decision analytics. Are you ready for your next career challenge? The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Counterterrorism Analyst/Insurgency Analyst to work in Honolulu, HI. The primary location for this effort is Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii. Other possible locations are: Denver, CO; Minneapolis, MN; and Ft. Worth, TX. Counterterrorism Analyst/Insurgency Analyst Responsibilities

Producing IC-coordinated all-source intelligence analytic products on non-state actors, including terrorist and insurgency groups, and their global activities.

Identifying, exposing, and exploiting terrorist and insurgent planning, operations, vulnerabilities, and CBRNE terrorist tactics, techniques, and procedures.

Providing analytic support to counterterrorism and counterinsurgency operations, including 24/7 warning activities and Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX).

Supporting the tracking, identification, entry, and management of identity information on known or suspected terrorists, and nominating identities as terrorist threats.

Conducting comprehensive research and analysis on transnational threat issues in support of USINDOPACOM priorities and requirements.

Demonstrating expert knowledge of counterinsurgency doctrine and the capabilities, activities, and intentions of global and regional Violent Extremist Organizations (VEOs).

Regularly producing and coordinating intelligence assessments with regional political-military analysts, intelligence community, and interagency partners, and delivering briefings to USINDOPACOM leaders.

Clearance Required

Current TS/SCI Clearance.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education

Bachelors degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of relevant experience (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree).

Experience producing all-source intelligence analytic products, preferably in support of counterterrorism, counterinsurgency, or CBRNE missions.

Demonstrated knowledge of counterinsurgency doctrine and familiarity with global/regional Violent Extremist Organizations (VEOs).

Proficiency in analytic methodologies and adherence to Intelligence Community tradecraft standards.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education

Experience supporting USINDOPACOM.

August 19, 2025 Pay Range

Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
