Overview
We are supporting a global semiconductor IP provider that is expanding its North America team. The company develops advanced CPU and system-level IP used in billions of devices worldwide, enabling next-generation computing across AI, datacenter, automotive, mobile, and consumer markets. This is a senior-level individual contributor role that bridges CPU/SoC architecture and embedded software with customer-facing technical engagement. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist with strong communication skills who enjoys working directly with customers to drive adoption of leading-edge processor IP. Base pay range
$200,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr Location

Solutions Architect – CPU/SoC IP Responsibilities
Partner with sales and product teams to define requirements and propose optimal CPU/SoC IP solutions Deliver technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept evaluations to customers Support IP integration, including interface, interconnect, memory subsystems, and verification flows Provide guidance on software bring-up (Linux/RTOS, drivers, middleware, SDKs, toolchains) Benchmark workloads to highlight CPU performance and support optimization efforts Act as a trusted technical advisor and feed customer insights into product roadmaps Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Strong background in CPU/SoC architecture and embedded software development (C/C++, Python, Linux, RTOS, drivers) Experience with IP integration and system-level performance optimization Ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to engineers and executives Prior customer-facing experience in pre-sales, field applications, or technical consulting is a plus Knowledge of software porting across instruction sets (e.g., ARM, x86, open architectures) Familiarity with FPGA prototyping, performance modeling, or EDA flows is desirable Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset Other Details
