Overview

Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Proposal Manager to join our team in the Washington, DC area, supporting the Director of Strategic Capture Foundry. This individual will lead proposal teams in support of business development across all sectors and tailor communications to articulate a compelling value proposition for proposal development. This is a hybrid role and requires ability to be in office three days each week. Responsibilities

Lead proposal efforts of various complexity ($50M and above) across all sectors. Lead the development of Proposal Management Plans. Support the development of proposal strategies and win themes. Analyze RFP/bid requirements to develop annotated proposal outlines. Build the proposal compliance matrices and track fulfillment of all requirements. Conduct proposal progress status meetings and develop and maintain proposal schedule. Lead writing/editing/rewriting efforts. Lead Color Team Reviews and track recovery. Work with Volume Leaders to ensure inter-volume compatibility. Collaborate and coordinate with members of the BD department to track opportunities and provide market research. Support the development of training materials, presentations, and white papers. Provide writing and editing support to ensure we are using active voice. Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in a related business subject area or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience. 5+ years of experience as a proposal manager leading deals of 50+ Million in a government contracting environment. 3+ years of experience leading multi level proposal matrix teams of varying complexity, leading internal and external teams. Understanding of the procurement process for civilian and defense agencies for compliant proposal production. Teammate who is looking for long-term company growth to build their management skills and develop their business development savvy. Excellent planning and scheduling, time management and organization skills with the ability to spearhead proposal efforts and work independently to meet fast paced timelines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including editing skills. Experience conducting market research using GovWinIQ, eBuy, Sam.gov, FPDS, and other internet-based applications. Lead teams using Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) and/or Shipley best-practices. Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, high growth, and entrepreneurial environment. This is a hybrid position and requires ability to be in office three days each week. Preferred Qualifications
