Overview
Interim Chief Financial Officer We are seeking a hands-on, interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial operations, drive strategic planning, and provide leadership for our Employee Stock Ownership (ESOP) mid-market client. This role combines executive-level financial management with active day-to-day accounting oversight for a long-term commitment. Key Responsibilities
Lead financial planning, budgeting, reporting, risk management, and compliance. Manage AR / AP, cash flow, audits, tax planning, and banking relationships. Direct and mentor a lean, high-performing finance team. Partner with the CEO / COO on strategic and operational initiatives. Ensure proper financial controls, accurate job costing, and timely reporting. Oversee ESOP / 401k administration, insurance renewals, and ERP processes. Requirements
Proven CFO experience in a construction company. CPA required; strong accounting and financial reporting expertise. Willingness to be hands-on with daily / weekly accounting activities. Onsite required in the Central Valley of CA Strong leadership and team development skills. Preferred

$100-$150 / hour depending on experience
