The Information Technology office is accepting applications for a Senior Application Development Analyst to join the Administrative Systems Development Operations unit. The Senior Application Developer Analyst (Sr. ADA) supports the JCC Information Technology (IT) Office and ServiceNow platform team. Receiving only general direction, the Senior Application Developer Analyst will serve as a ServiceNow Platform engineer supporting the execution of the ServiceNow functions across different modules, solutions, and services. The role maintains information documenting the system configuration, administration, and monitoring. Working with our Senior Business Systems Analyst (Sr. BSA), the Sr. ADA serves as an operations consultant for business teams, technical users and business stakeholders to analyze and recommend efficient business processes. This position works independently with minimal supervision and will lead business application projects. The Senior Application Developer Analyst will be working together with the Senior Technology Analyst and maintains thought leadership with deep subject matter expertise related to ServiceNow ITSM product capabilities including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, CMDB, Knowledge, Service Level Agreement / Management, Customer Service Management, Service Portal, and Custom Scoped Applications. The ideal candidate will possess: Minimum of 5+ years of ServiceNow architecture, design, implementation, and technical experience in complex environments Deep understanding of scripting for customizations and integrations (JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS) Proficiency in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools Knowledge of Agile and SDLC principles Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Web Service Integrations preferred Experience driving continuous improvements of Service Now implementation methodology and service offerings based on clients’ feedback Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the delivery of ServiceNow solutions Expertise in collaboration, creation, deployment, and maintenance of technical best practices and standards Ensures technical deliverables are complete, consistent, high quality, on time, and deliver valuable outcomes Upon request, provide training and mentoring to other members of the ServiceNow delivery team and partner ecosystem Ability to travel up to 10% annually, driven by customer needs and internal meetings The ideal candidate would have ServiceNow Admin experience and related ServiceNow certifications in ServiceNow main certification path with IT product line. The Judicial Council of California is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, information systems, or a directly related field, and five (5) years of design and development experience, including solid knowledge and proficiency in the software used in the assignment. Possession of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a directly related field may be substituted for one of the years of required experience. An additional four (4) years of professional experience as noted above may substitute for the bachelor’s degree. Or, additional directly related experience and/or education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. OR One (1) year as an Application Development Analyst (utilizing the software used in the assignment) with the Judicial Council of California or one (1) year of experience performing the duties of a class comparable in the level of responsibility to that of an Application Development Analyst in a California superior court or California state-level government entity. Desirable Qualifications: ServiceNow Certification and ITIL hands on experiences. ServiceNow admin experiences. Minimum of 5+ years of ServiceNow architecture, design, implementation, and technical experience in complex environments.
