Overview
Harbor Health operates two Elder Service Plan Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). The ESP has two medical and day centers in Mattapan and Brockton, MA and cares for more than 580 participants. We are seeking a talented Sr. Community Relations Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing & Enrollment team at the Brockton PACE program. Role:
The Senior Community Relations Marketing Specialist participates in the marketing of the ESP to potential referral organizations and individuals. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to grow referral sources in the community to assist the enrollment team in meeting or exceeding enrollment goals. This position carries a reduced enrollment caseload to provide marketing and outreach activities. Responsibilities
Assist with the development and implementation of effective marketing, outreach and communication strategies to drive engagement within the ESP referral community. Provide supervision to Enrollment Specialists in the absence of Marketing Director, including oversight, workflow management, interfacing with other ESP departments and ongoing training. Assist with the Marketing Plan development, especially focusing on new referral types/sources. Promote ESP through networking, outreach, and presentations to community groups. Develop effective relationships with referral sources to communicate the benefits of referring clients to ESP. Assist with the development and implementation of strategies to overcome referral barriers and identify potential new ESP referral sources. Assist with the planning, organization and execution of marketing activities including events, health fairs, trade shows, and community meetings. Effectively enroll potential members, coordinating and participating in all aspects of the enrollment assessment process. Travel to meet with applicants and/or referrals in their homes or off-site offices in the Mattapan and Brockton catchment areas. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred or 7-10 years of related sales experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, community outreach, and/or consultative sales, with 1-3 years in Healthcare and/or Elder Care Insurance industry. Computer literacy (Office 365 including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and experience with CRM software. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Knowledge and experience with geriatric and social service referral communities is a plus. Comfortable working with diverse communities and diverse socio-economic groups across the service area. Aptitude for assisting with developing and implementing strategies. Familiarity with non-profits. Proven experience cultivating and building relationships in the community. Excellent communication, public speaking, presentation, creative and problem-solving skills. Bilingual English and Spanish/Cape Verdean or Haitian Creole; 5+ years of experience working with a geriatric population preferred. Must be able to travel between multiple sites in a timely manner.
