Halcyon was formed in 2021 by a team of cyber industry veterans after battling ransomware and advanced threats for years at some of the largest global security vendors. Comprised of leaders from Cylance (now Blackberry), Accuvant (now Optiv), FireEye and ISS X-Force (now IBM), Halcyon focuses on building products and solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers. The Role : We are searching for an experienced Commercial Account Executive who is passionate about security and can deliver on bold revenue targets. Primary duties include generating revenue from multiple lead sources, developing new clients, and selling directly into customers while leveraging our channel community. Selected candidates will be expected to achieve revenue sales targets and provide forecast updates and visibility into this growing business. Responsibilities

Generate revenue from multiple lead sources, develop new clients, and sell directly into customers while leveraging our channel community. Provide accurate forecast updates and maintain continuous pipeline growth and deal advancement. Identify and engage potential clients, understand their needs, and present tailored solutions with an emphasis on outcomes. Articulate the value proposition of Halcyon’s solutions in a compelling and relevant manner. Optimize client engagement post-sale and time additional transactions appropriately. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients as a trusted advisor and to understand evolving cybersecurity requirements. Conduct regular client reviews, assess satisfaction, and propose enhancements to meet client objectives. Network via industry user groups, tabletop events and key industry conferences. Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements while aligning with organizational and client objectives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize sales processes and enhance the overall client experience. Create an overall development plan for success in the territory. Sustain a pipeline of suitable appointments and move prospects through the sales process efficiently. Skills and Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets. Prior experience as a quota-carrying sales representative, preferably with endpoint cybersecurity solutions. Ability to establish and maintain client and executive-level relationships, focusing on success and long-term partnerships. Ability to qualify leads based on key success metrics. Proficient in conducting and leading negotiations for procurement and legal agreements, with expertise in driving favorable terms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly to clients. Ability to engage with a variety of technical and business leaders. Strong organizational and reporting skills. Self-motivation, drive, initiative, and a confident sales approach. Prior startup experience and/or strong working knowledge of the endpoint cybersecurity space is beneficial. Benefits and Compensation

Base Salary Range : $95,000-115,000 In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, Halcyon’s base compensation range is a reasonable estimate. Actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.
