Overview

We are seeking a Vice President of Marketing to lead brand strategy for Current Group’s two agencies — dna Communications and Current Global — partnering with executive leadership to elevate their brand presence and position them as leading voices in the communications industry. Responsibilities

Develop integrated marketing strategies that support agency growth, visibility, and positioning Oversee brand strategy and content development for owned channels, including the agency website and social media Identify and secure thought leadership opportunities for executive leadership, including speaking engagements, panels, and bylines Plan and execute marketing events and activations that support business objectives Drive the agency’s awards strategy, partnering with internal teams to identify, develop, and submit high-impact work for key industry recognition Monitor industry trends, media narratives, and competitor activity to inform strategy and ensure competitive brand positioning Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align marketing efforts with broader agency priorities Track and report on marketing effectiveness, providing insights to inform future strategy and budget decisions Work closely with the business development team on marketing collateral, pitch materials, and agency presentations to ensure brand consistency and quality Qualifications

8-10 years in marketing/business development positions at a consultancy or communications/marketing agency Strong sense of entrepreneurship and ability to observe trends and emerging issues Deep understanding of brand strategy, digital marketing channels, and content marketing best practices Experience working collaboratively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a highly-matrixed organization Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market insights to inform strategic decisions Passion for storytelling and ability to translate complex ideas into compelling messaging Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and industry trends Highly effective written, verbal and visual communication skills Strong organizational, time management and project management skills Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously, and proactively communicate to anticipate and meet tight deadlines High degree of proficiency with MS Office suite of products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; as well as social media management tools Benefits
