An AMG Project Manager provides technical direction and guidance, enforces design standards and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are delivered in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. The Project Manager role is dynamic and involves working on a variety of projects, managing and facilitating the development and engineering administration of the project from inception through completion of the construction contract. Responsibilities

Review plans, designs, details, and maintenance of transportation systems. Review project proposals, plans, specifications, and estimates prepared by others. Keep or assist in keeping necessary records pertaining to project development progress. Manage project financial plan, expenditures, budget programs, and work order balances. Prepare staff reports and presentations to the governing board and public. Qualifications and Requirements

Knowledge in the following disciplines: Highway and Street Design Project Development Phases and Procedures Local Assistance Manual Right-of-way process Funds programming and reporting requirements CAD drafting (preferred) Standard Specifications Special Requirements Preferred: valid certificate of registration as a civil engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers. Demonstrated knowledge of project management, programming and change control process, including related education and training. Demonstrated ability to deliver projects and/or products on time and within scope and budget. Demonstrated ability to monitor/control capital and support costs. Demonstrated ability to assess and manage risks. Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and build partnerships with internal and external partners. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing including presentations. Years of experience: Minimum of 3 years Seniority level
