Gilbane Development Company is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic
Head of Public-Private Partnerships (P3)
to lead and expand our P3 initiatives in local & state government entities, K-12, and healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in originating and managing large-scale infrastructure projects, developing strategic partnerships, and driving business growth through innovative P3 solutions. This role requires a visionary leader with exceptional skills in project development, financial structuring, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy: Leads the development and execution of the company's P3 strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market opportunities
Project Development: Oversees the identification, assessment, and development of P3 projects across various sectors, including transportation, civil infrastructure, utilities, and public facilities
Partnership Management: Builds and maintains strong relationships with public agencies, private sector partners, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful project delivery
Financial Structuring: Leads the financial structuring and investment activities for P3 projects, including bidding, commercial negotiations, and securing equity investments
Team Leadership: Provides executive oversight and support to the project structuring and investment teams, ensuring high performance and achievement of project outcomes
Market Expansion: Identifies and assesses new market opportunities, and develops strategies to enter and succeed in these markets
Regulatory Compliance: Ensures all projects comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
Qualifications Education/Experience
Master's Degree or equivalent advanced degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
10-15 years of experience in P3, infrastructure development, finance, or a related field, with a strong track record of successful project delivery
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Extensive knowledge of P3 procurement and commercial structures
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent financial acumen and experience in structuring complex financial transactions
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Professional engineering license or certification
Experience working with public agencies and understanding of public sector procurement processes
Familiarity with regulatory environments in the United States
Salary ranges vary by location and are determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, and market data.
New York City: $225,000 - $300,000 plus benefits and retirement program.
Rhode Island: $180,000 - $250,000 plus benefits and a retirement program.
Massachusetts: $200,000 - $280,000 plus benefits and a retirement program.
