Overview
Firm Advice is conducting a search on behalf of a long-term, Northern Virginia corporation that is the market leader in technology security products. The Senior Associate Legal Counsel will work with business and technical teams to draft and negotiate domestic and international technology, manufacturing, and other commercial sales agreements with customers. The selected attorney will also assist with employee training on company's Contract Policy. In-house position is hybrid, 2 days per week, in Northern Virginia. Compensation ranges from $140,000 to $173,000, depending on skills and experience. Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate domestic and international technology, manufacturing, and other commercial sales agreements with customers, working with business and technical teams. Assist with employee training on company's Contract Policy. Qualifications
JD and license to practice in at least one state in the US; ability to be admitted to VA Bar as Corporate Counsel 5 plus years’ experience drafting and negotiating commercial technology contracts, including a deep understanding of legal and business risk issues, and a good working knowledge of IP licensing matters, hosting services, manufacturing and hardware and software solutions. Experience with export controls plus. Must be detail oriented and able to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously within deadlines. Must enjoy working in a creative, collaborative environment.
