What will you be doing? As a Trauma Associate Sales Representative, you will be responsible for supporting the Trauma Sales team within an assigned territory with installations, troubleshooting and maintenance, demo inventory setup and customer in-service. You will study technical information and surgical procedures in the Trauma Orthopaedics product portfolio, specializing in solutions for internal and external fixation to restore the function of the injured body part(s) quickly and effectively. The territory you will support will manage a 24/7 call rotation within the team. Responsibilities

Provide installations, troubleshooting and maintenance for Trauma Orthopaedics products in the assigned territory. Set up demo inventory and conduct customer in-services. Transport customer inventory between accounts and cover surgical cases for sales reps within certain accounts. Study technical information and surgical procedures relevant to the Trauma Orthopaedics portfolio. Support the Sales Representative to generate revenue and meet/exceed the territory quota. What will you need to be successful?

Technical expertise in the Trauma Orthopaedics portfolio. Ability to build positive relationships with surgeons and hospital personnel and train them on proper use and care of product equipment. Self-motivated sales approach with capacity to learn high levels of technical information related to Trauma Orthopaedic surgery. Results-driven mindset focused on increasing sales revenue within the territory and impacting patient outcomes. Resourceful and proactive in attaining proficiency in Trauma Orthopaedics and providing first-class technical support to ensure product availability meets customer and patient needs. Collaborative and dedicated teammate, willing to work with all Smith+Nephew Trauma Sales Representatives to support a 24/7 on-call schedule within the territory. What will you need?

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience Minimum two years of sales experience Preferred experience in healthcare, specifically selling orthopedic products, or roles such as EMT/Paramedic, Surgical Technician, Sterile Processing Technician, Operating Room Aide, or Athletic Trainer Proven track record of selling/converting business at the surgeon or hospital level (preferred) Experience leading/mentoring team members Travel Requirements

Travel within designated sales territory with 2-4 overnights a month. Infrequent national travel for events and conferences. All field sales professionals who must gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform their role should complete our credentialing process, which may include COVID-19 vaccine management.
