Overview
The incumbent provides support to the Program Executive Officer for Aircraft Carriers (PEO CVN) in the administration of the command's IT and IS. PEO CVN provides full lifecycle acquisition support to the nation's fleet of aircraft carriers. The command is located at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
Assist PEO Carriers in the administration of user seats and IT devices for PEO CVN personnel under the NMCI program
Maintain databases to track assigned equipment and software
Collect data in response to IT-related data calls.
Serve as the focal point for onsite support in the resolution of network and device issues
Provide user assistance and training in the use of hardware and software
Support cleanup of data spillage
Support the implementation of system upgrades
Process user access forms
Required Skills and Experiences
Minimum: 7+ years experience in systems administration
Preferred:
Experience providing network users IT-related support
Experience developing IT budgets and justification exhibits
Experience with installation, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting and interface support of Program Office IT software, LANs, WANs and connective to enterprise information systems
Knowledge of DoD Information Assurance and Cybersecurity compliance regulations
Degree Requirements Master's degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems

Must be a US Citizen
Must possess an active and fully adjudicated SECRET clearance
