$140,000 – $150,000 commensurate with experience and location. Genesys Works is a national leader in providing pathways to career success for high school students in underserved communities through skills training, meaningful work experiences, and impactful relationships. Currently in eight cities across the country and adding new cities each year, we are positioning ourselves for future growth and have an exciting opportunity for a strategic business leader to join the National team as a Regional Director of Corporate Partnerships for the Eastern U.S. Reporting to the Chief Strategic Growth Officer, the Regional Director of Corporate Partnerships (RDCP) will provide strategic oversight, personnel management and development, and pipeline management to our New York, DC, and Jacksonville sites.

This role will require regular travel, visiting each of these cities no less than once per quarter, and spending at least 3 days per month in these cities in support of personnel development and business development efforts. Your role will be to directly manage the sales staff ( Corporate Partnership Managers and Directors of Corporate Engagement ) and maximize the effectiveness of the executive directors of these sites through training, development, coaching, and close support for C-level meetings and ongoing pipeline management. You will play a critical role as we establish, codify, and manage to the best demonstrated practices in sales, account management, service delivery, and stakeholder engagement – helping these local teams develop the habits and rituals necessary to achieve high levels of renewal, customer satisfaction, and account growth over time. The RDCP will train site staff to effectively manage internship sales efforts with a focus on building relationships with new and current partners to solidify new and renewed seats for our interns, as well as oversee operational aspects related to corporate partnership management. Working in collaboration with other leaders and colleagues, the Regional Director of Corporate Partnerships will be responsible for the following: Duties and Responsibilities

People management – managing 4-6 sales professionals across our New York, DC and Jacksonville sites. Sales management, pipeline management and skill development for the personnel responsible corporate partnership efforts across three sites generating 150-300 paid internships and ~3-6 million of earned revenue per year; Working with the Chief Strategic Growth Officer, develop and deliver trainings to upskill sales teams across the country as well as at your sites on business development, account management, selling skills, sales process, sales pipeline management, selling at the C-level, preparing for and following up on C-level meetings, maximizing the value of existing partnerships, and making the most of the renewal cycle; You will be the sales leader for the Executive Directors of these three sites, and you will partner with them to develop new business strategy for each market; Leverage our sales support function to help local staff to perform prospect research on new potential Corporate Partners relevant to the organization; Oversee relationships with our most valuable corporate partners and develop strategies to more effectively engage these partners at all levels; Present solutions to stakeholders and prospective partners to assist in the sales process; Take ownership of pipeline management, and conduct regular opportunity reviews with site staff and EDs throughout the sales cycle; Track, measure and manage our corporate partners’ success against metrics to maximize results; Complete analysis of renewals, growth and learnings; and, Attend meetings with corporate partners to coach and develop our sellers and account managers. The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has the following: 10+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or account management, preferably in staffing, big firm consulting, or the non-profit space; Advanced experience in managing corporate partnership accounts, preferably in staffing, workforce development or a non-profit space; Advanced experience in generating leads and managing pipelines; Experience in leading teams and conducting training opportunities; Ability to quickly build trust and credibility with corporate partners and all other internal and external stakeholders; Customer service mentality and ability to communicate and problem solve; Strong executive presence and professional demeanor, able to sell at the C-level and help others learn to do the same; Ability to work both independently and in a team setting; Strong sense of accountability, a “partner mindset”; Ability to relate to and work with diverse populations in a variety of settings; and, Compensation
