Overview
A full-time Clinical Audiologist is needed at a busy ENT practice in Los Gatos, California. An experienced Audiology technician would be helping the audiologist. The Audiologist will be responsible for hearing and balance evaluations for all ages, including diagnostic audiology in a large sound booth with pediatric and adult evaluations, performing a full spectrum of vestibular testing, hearing aid fittings, cochlear implant mapping, and bone conduction implant evaluation and follow-up care. The role includes counseling and educating the patient to find the best solution to treat their hearing challenges. This is a full-time position; part-time offers will be considered. An experienced audiology technician will be assisting.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive diagnostic hearing and balance evaluations.
Execute a treatment plan using thorough counseling and education.
Recommend and fit proper hearing devices based on patient needs.
Tinnitus evaluation and management.
Perform VNGs, VEMP, ECoG, ABR evaluations, and cognition testing.
Assist in clinical administrative functions including phone calls, documentation, reporting, and hearing aid tracking.
Engage in physician outreach, including community events, lunch and learns, health fairs, and teaching at local universities.
Maintain confidentiality of all business, patient information, and proprietary processes.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education: Doctorate or Master’s in Audiology with California Audiology license.
Active CA Dispensing license or eligible for California licensure.
Two professional references.
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency or valid work permit.
California Audiology license (or eligible). California hearing aid license or one pending.
Background check as part of the application process.
2-3 professional references.
