Our client is known for offering services with a focus on outstanding quality, value added engineering and successful project outcomes. These services include engineering only and engineering/procurement/construction (EPC) services for high voltage powerlines and substations. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and support major utility infrastructure projects (> 25M) across the Bay Area. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in transmission line and substation projects. Base pay range
$75.00/hr - $85.00/hr Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical), Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience managing utility infrastructure projects, particularly transmission line and substation projects. Proven track record of managing complex, long-duration projects (5+ years). Strong understanding of permitting and regulatory processes. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Master’s degree in a relevant field. Prior experience managing PG&E projects is a significant plus. Familiarity with Bay Area permitting and utility standards. Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale utility projects, some exceeding $200M in value. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality across all phases. Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely progress. Oversee permitting processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular site visits across the Bay Area to monitor progress and resolve issues. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project team members. Participate in client-specific training as needed Compensation
$75 to $85/hour Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefits
