Position Summary Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Business Development, the Director of Business Development - 7 Pillars is responsible for developing meaningful relationships with 7 Pillars clients and cultivating ongoing working relationships with potential partner entities. The Director of Business Development - 7 Pillars leads the Discovery, Engagement, Marketing, and Legacy phases of 7 Pillars standard process with their clients. The Director of Business Development - 7 Pillars will evaluate the most relevant 7 Pillars offerings (Broker Services or Advisory Services) for each client based upon the client’s individual goals and objectives. The Director of Business Development - 7 Pillars will prepare and present clients with financial models and cash flow projections to illustrate their options. The Director of Business Development - 7 Pillars leads negotiations with potential partners for each client and maintains ongoing working relationships with potential partners. Responsibilities & Duties

Develop and manage relationships with 7 Pillars clients and potential partner entities

Lead the Discovery, Engagement, Marketing, and Legacy phases of 7 Pillars' standard process with clients

Evaluate the most relevant 7 Pillars offerings for each client based upon their individual goals and objectives

Prepare and present clients with financial models and cash flow projections to illustrate their options

Lead negotiations with potential partners for each client

Maintain ongoing working relationships with potential partners

Develop and maintain an analytical overview of the buyer market including preferred acquisition profiles, operating philosophies, and standard transaction processes

Develop and maintain a data set of transaction details from initial offer to letter of intent to quality of earnings review culminating in transaction closing to facilitate analysis of buyers, client-buyer fit, and market and industry trends

Cultivate relationships between 7 Pillars and buying organizations

Facilitation of client meetings with potential buyers

Assist the 7 Pillars team in advising clients on long-term professional fit between client and potential buyer through an in-depth understanding of buyer operating philosophies, clinical philosophies, successful acquisition profiles and defined metrics of success metrics

Develop and maintain a standard process to maintain relationships with successfully transitioned clients providing post-closing advisory services and monitoring progress towards long-term professional success of client within buyer’s organization

Represent 7 Pillars at dental trade shows and conferences

Assist in the preparation of educational programming and material for potential, existing and successfully transitioned clients as a part of the 7 Pillars marketing and educational programming efforts

Develop and maintain company data sets on buyers, transactions, market, and industry trends

Evaluate and communicate how 7 Pillars services would be appropriate for potential new clients

Evaluate and communicate potential client-buyer fit

Facilitation of client meetings with potential buyers

Timely client follow-up and innovative approach to resolving administrative challenges

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience within the financial or dental industry highly desired

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook required

Experience with Monday.com or similar CRM platforms

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tasks within compressed times and seek supervisory assistance as appropriate

Innovative, stress-tolerant, and strong decision-making skills

Self-motivated; a strong sense of ownership and involvement is critical

Team player

Superior organization skills with attention to detail

Proven proficiency in prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment

Travel

Some travel (>20%) is expected for this position to facilitate buyer meetings, develop relationships with clients and buyer organizations, and represent 7 Pillars at various industry events. Work Environment

This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Position Type & Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, exempt position. Standard hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., but this position is expected to require significant hours outside of standard hours of work to facilitate client and buyer meetings. Flexibility in hours is allowed based on management's approval. Once fully trained, this role offers a hybrid work arrangement; 3 days' in-office presence is required. Additionally, an in-office presence is expected for training, team meetings, or as other business needs dictate. Job Compensation & Benefits
