Overview
This role will be responsible for building and running comprehensive reporting to manage AI inventory, driving prioritization of AI use cases, identifying opportunities to streamline governance processes, and reporting to executive stakeholders on key metrics and emerging risks. As a Data Management Lead Vice President on the Global Private Bank (GPB) and Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) businesses, you will serve as a central steward of our Firmwide AI Governance framework. You will partner with senior leaders across GPB, AWM and firm-wide functions (Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Data Science) to ensure that every AI-powered initiative—from intake through production—meets JPMorgan Chase’s standards for safety, transparency and accountability. Responsibilities
Own the AI Inventory life cycle across GPB and cross-AWM functions: intake, categorization, risk assessment, development, production, production monitoring and decommissioning. Ensure all in-scope AI models comply with Firmwide AI Governance standards, policies and control requirements. Design and maintain dashboards and management reports to track inventory, critical steps in the AI framework, and model performance. Partner with business and control partners to prioritize AI initiatives based on strategic impact, business priorities, and resource availability. Synthesize inventory data, community feedback and lessons learned to identify framework-streamlining opportunities and enhance governance efficiency. Serve as a subject-matter expert, providing guidance on emerging regulatory expectations, best practices and internal standards for model explainability, fairness, data privacy and security. Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and status updates to senior leadership, Risk Committees and C-suite stakeholders. Build strong relationships with AI owners, Control Managers, Regulatory Exam Managers, Technology and Data Science teams to drive end-to-end accountability. Seven (7)+ years of professional experience, with focus around program management, executive reporting. Demonstrated ability to manage complex inventories and reporting pipelines. Strong organizational skills with proven track record of driving multiple workstreams in a dynamic, matrixed environment. Excellent verbal and written communication; able to translate technical or regulatory requirements into concise executive messaging. Exceptional relationship-management skills and executive presence; comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Deep curiosity for AI/ML technologies, regulations and ethical considerations, with a passion for continuous improvement. Proven problem-solving and analytical ability, including interpreting data, identifying root causes and designing pragmatic control solutions. Ability to navigate a global infrastructure, adapt to evolving requirements and influence peer partners across geographies. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
AI governance, model risk management, data governance, compliance or operational risk are a plus.
