Overview
As an Information Security Engineer, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and support of security solutions that protect enterprise systems and data. You'll work on moderately complex initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with security policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of network security and the ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges. Responsibilities
Participate in the planning and execution of Information Security Engineering deliverables. Analyze and resolve moderately complex security engineering challenges. Consult with internal stakeholders to ensure security solutions meet business and compliance needs. Apply industry best practices to implement security components including availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity. Collaborate with teams across Security Architecture, Infrastructure, and Engineering to align with enterprise security standards. Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering, or equivalent experience through a combination of work, consulting, military service, training, or education. Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with network security technologies including firewalls, firewall rules/policies, IDS/IPS, proxies, and NAC. Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK. Proficiency in security products such as Palo Alto, Akamai, and Cisco. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to independently research and perform in-depth technical analysis. Skills & Competencies
Deep understanding of network security principles and tools. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with threat identification and incident response.
