This role enables you to lead the team responsible for the information technology audit coverage within the Prudential U.S. Businesses. This position provides the opportunity to assist in developing and implementing the audit plan covering the activities of the information technology units that support businesses responsible for group and life insurance products, annuities and other retirement solutions. The successful candidate will manage multiple audits and audit teams and will be responsible for the Relationship Manager role with key partners and embedded information technology functions. The individual selected will support talent-related responsibilities for the team including staff development, recruiting, and training. The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a recurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site. There may be occasional travel required which should not exceed 10%, depending on audit plan coverage. Responsibilities
Assisting in developing and implementing the execution of the annual audit plan related to certain Prudential US Businesses information technology (IT) / information security (IS) areas. Serving as an IT and IS expert as part of integrated audits for both vertical and horizontal IT and IS audit coverage. Partnering with audit teams across the globe to achieve consistent, coordinated coverage of IS related risks and controls. Collaborate with other Relationship Managers and partner with multiple audit teams across the Department to achieve consistent and coordinated coverage of information technology and information security risks and related controls. Build and maintain collaborative relationships across the Audit Department as well as with key stakeholders across the Company to facilitate the execution of the audit plan as well as the sharing of observations, information, and ideas. Ensure risks and exposures are clearly understood by key partners and gain consensus from management to understand, manage, and mitigate IT and IS risks in line with an evolving business strategy. Monitoring issues and trends throughout the year to inform the advancement of the annual audit plan. Remaining current with industry views related to Cyber Security, Cloud, DevOps, information security and other information technology topics. Lead and execute audit engagements that meet the department’s methodologies and quality standards. Remain committed to personal advancement and educate others on key IT/IS risks, controls, as well as support staff development, recruiting, performance management, and succession planning. Leverage data analytics and develop audit programs in support of risk assessments, audit design, and execution related to key IT/IS risks. Assist Audit VP Product Owner with continuous monitoring meetings, year over year audit coverage, aggregation of key issues for SLT member, and key stakeholder meetings. What you’ll need
8+ years of relevant experience in IT/IS, risk and/or audit roles. Understanding of IT/IS related risks and experience in general application reviews (logical access, change management, versioning control, data interfaces, and library management). Knowledge of emerging topics and current analytical methods to monitor and manage risks. Highly motivated, proactive, conceptual thinker with leadership capabilities across assignments. Strong track record of providing value-added insights to business leaders and serving as a trusted advisor to business and Audit Department leaders. Executive-level communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to partner with multiple business groups, corporate areas, and independent auditors. Undergraduate degree related to technology, risk management, finance, or other quantitative field. Nice to have
Higher degree of study (CPA, MBA). CISA, CISSP and/or certifications demonstrating IT/IS risk and controls proficiency. What we offer you
Salary range for this role between $152,500.00 and $206,200.00, with adjustments based on location, experience, and skills. Market competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level.
