Overview
Position: Emulation Validation / Verification Engineer Location: onsite Bay Area preferred; any Capgemini office location also will be considered; Hybrid Responsibilities
Execute DV testcases: Run functional verification tests on the ZeBu emulation platform to identify bugs and ensure design integrity. Debug: Actively contribute to functional design verification and debug failures to root cause. Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to validate, optimize, and improve implementation and debug flows. Analyze and Troubleshoot: Reproduce issues and provide detailed analysis to assist design teams in identifying and resolving failures quickly. Your skills and experience
8 to 10 years of total emulation / verification experience, including 2 to 5 years specifically in hardware emulation using ZeBu. Strong DV background with hands-on experience in UVM / SystemVerilog. Proficient in debugging using waveforms and logs. Experience working with the ZeBu platform. Comfortable with C++ implementation and handling. Skilled in hardware description languages and methodologies: UVM, SystemVerilog, Verilog, and VHDL. Solid understanding of the complete SoC design cycle to effectively debug complex IP and system-level issues. Good to have
Experience with ARM / Xtensa core toolchains. Scripting skills (Python). Familiarity with key protocols such as PCIe, USB, Ethernet, AMBA, UART, JTAG, NOC, LPDDR, and flash memories. Knowledge of debug infrastructures like CoreSight / UltraSoC. Hands-on experience with bare-metal code for SoC bring-up. Life at Capgemini
