Manager, Medical Education - ( 250002P7 ) Description The Manager of Medical Education serves a crucial role in overseeing, advancing and innovating all Medical Education programs at CNH. Reporting directly to the Vice-Chair for Medical Education, this role leads the Office of Medical Education, which manages all educational activities along the continuum from undergraduate medical education (UME), to graduate medical education (GME), to continuing medical education (CME). The Manager of Medical Education is responsible for providing leadership direction for all administrative functions and business operations related to medical education programs, supporting the overall quality and effectiveness of the programs, the strategic educational and operational goals of the institution, and ensuring compliance with all institutional policies and LCME, ACGME, and CME/Joint Accreditation national standards. The manager will have primary responsibility for planning, budgeting and operations, and will integrate and coordinate the operations of the Office of Medical Education with other elements of the CNH enterprise including Compliance, Finance, Legal, Information Services, Human Resources, and Occupational Health. Energize stakeholders and sustain their commitment to change regarding approach, process and strategy. Monitor department processes and seek opportunities to effectively and efficiently meet organizational needs. Ensure the effective communication of all medical education programs to CNH management and staff. Qualifications

Minimum Education Bachelor\'s Degree BA, BS, BBA, BSN, or equivalent (Required) Master\'s Degree MBA, M.Ed., MHA, or equivalent (Preferred) Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Doctorate in education, healthcare administration, or related field (Preferred) Minimum Work Experience 8 years relevant work experience (Required) And 5 years in medical education administration (Required) Required Skills/Knowledge Ability to lead, build and maintain collaborative partnerships across CNH and our educational partner institutions Comprehensive understanding and demonstrated expertise in ACGME accreditation requirements, standards, and processes Experience with residency management systems (MedHub) preferred Strong knowledge of Medicare cost reporting (IME and DME) and rotation schedule management Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced academic medical environment with demonstrated ability to adapt to changing regulations and ambiguity while leading others practically and effectively through uncertainty Demonstrated ability to budget and make financial projections including strong analytical skills and ability to prepare meaningful reports for executive leadership Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with widely diverse groups, including individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization Ability to manage potentially sensitive situations by applying consultative skills in thoughtfully working with internal and external constituent groups Ability to plan, organize, motivate, mentor, direct and assess the work of others Project planning, program management and process improvement skills to make informed judgments, develop solutions for complex problems, and lead in a results-driven fashion Excellent computer and financial modeling skills, including Microsoft Excel, as well as honed analytical skills and demonstration of consistent attention to detail Required Licenses and Certifications Project Management (PMP) (Preferred) ACGME Training Administrators of GME certification (Preferred) LEAN/Six Sigma (Preferred) Functional Accountabilities

Organizational Performance Plan, implement, direct and evaluate medical education programs on a strategic and operational level to ensure organizational success. Energize stakeholders and sustain their commitment to change regarding approach, process and strategy. Monitor department processes and seek opportunities to effectively and efficiently meet organizational needs. Ensure the effective communication of all medical education programs to CNH management and staff. Human Capital Assess and monitor organizational staffing requirements and lead the Office of Medical Education to effectively and efficiently meet organizational needs. Create and maintain a work climate that fosters elevated employee engagement. Define, set and utilize performance and quality measures for medical education and for individual staff members. Support wellbeing, quality improvement, and DEI initiatives. Demonstrate ethical and professional practices, as well as stimulate social accountability and community stewardship. Information Technology Partner with Information Services and Human Resources to ensure a reliable credentialing and onboarding process for medical trainees. See the potential in and understand the use of administrative and clinical information technology and decision support tools in process and performance improvement. Actively sponsor the utilization and continue with upgrading of information management capabilities. Ensure the availability and quality of data to support senior leadership decision-making. Budget Independently develop and monitor the division’s operating and capital budgets. Oversee master affiliation agreements and the transfer of educational funds between partner institutions. Develop recommendations to facilitate meeting budget requirements. Consistently meet or exceed budget and staffing requirements.
