This full-time position is onsite in Chicago, IL and offers the opportunity to shape the future of reliable, high-performance systems using cutting-edge technologies including Kubernetes, Terraform, and advanced observability tools on AWS. What You Will Be Doing
40% AWS Cloud Infrastructure Management 30% Python/Ansible Automation & Scripting 20% Kubernetes & Container Orchestration 10% New Relic Observability & Monitoring Responsibilities
Lead major initiatives such as chaos engineering and auto-scaling Mentor and guide junior engineers Architect reliable, scalable systems and drive reliability initiatives Required Skills & Experience
8+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles Hands-on Python scripting and automation Expertise with CI/CD pipelines (CloudBuild or equivalent) Proficiency with Ansible for configuration management Advanced Terraform skills for Infrastructure as Code Experience with observability platforms (New Relic or similar) Production Kubernetes experience in AWS environments Desired Skills & Experience
AWS platform experience and certifications Additional scripting languages (Bash, Go) Experience with other observability tools (Splunk, Datadog) Microservices and distributed systems architecture knowledge Docker containerization expertise What You Will Be Offered / Benefits
