Position This position is responsible for providing medical care and treatment to the patients; including physical examinations, assessments of injuries/illnesses, preventive health measures, adverse drug reactions and drug interactions; and minor first aid to the staff at CFP. This position, on a regular basis, provides direct health care services to persons in the care or custody of the state and has unsupervised access to controlled substances. This position provides consultative services for a specialized program of psychiatric services at CFP for forensic patients, including training other health care professionals and support staff in the medical review of cases.

Education Education Possession of a medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
Experience Experience Three years of post, medical degree, full-licensure experience in the practice of medicine or osteopathic medicine and surgery.
Possession of a license to practice medicine or osteopathic medicine and surgery in Michigan.
