Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Chief of Pediatric Urology to lead our team in Jacksonville, Florida. The Chief will guide strategic growth, clinical excellence, and academic pursuits for Nemours Children's Health in Jacksonville and oversee inpatient work at Wolfson Children's Hospital. The Chief will lead a busy, well-established pediatric urology practice and partner with Mayo Clinic and the University of Florida to work with rotating Urology Residents. The Division of Urology serves a catchment area of more than 2 million people and the program offers all aspects of pediatric urology, with the opportunity to lead the expansion of Nemours Urology to meet regional needs. A fully functional APP-staffed continence clinic is overseen by the Chief of Urology. Responsibilities
Assume responsibility for the strategic, operational, and administrative functions for the Division of Pediatric Urology, including leadership of 2 full-time Pediatric Urologists, 3 dedicated APPs, 3 APPs supporting the continence clinic, and additional part-time support from 2 Pediatric Urologists serving as physician leaders in Jacksonville. Lead the inpatient operations at Wolfson Children's Hospital and oversee affiliated clinical partners in the expansion and advancement of pediatric urology services. Collaborate with Mayo Clinic and University of Florida to support rotating Urology Residents and to expand academic and clinical programs. Oversee the division’s resources, technology (including a DaVinci robot dedicated to the Children’s Hospital), and alignment with Nemours’ strategic goals. Affiliations and Environment

The main campus clinic and ambulatory space connect to the hospital via skybridge; the site supports a robust clinical trials program and research opportunities spanning the four Nemours sites. Wolfson Children’s Hospital provides Level IV NICU care and is the area’s only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center. Mayo Clinic College of Medicine provides academic appointments for faculty.
