The Director of Quality leads all aspects of the company's Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions, ensuring our products meet or exceed regulatory, customer, and internal standards. This leadership role will champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization, from R&D through manufacturing, supply chain, and customer service. Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and oversee the company's Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure compliance with global regulatory and industry standards (e.g., IFRA, ISO, GFSI, FDA, FSMA, etc.). Lead and manage quality teams across multiple departments and facilities. Direct quality audits, both internal and external; coordinate third-party and customer audits. Establish and track key quality metrics (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with R&D, production, procurement, and commercial teams to support product development, scale-up, and commercialization. Oversee raw material and supplier qualification programs. Lead investigation and resolution of non-conformances, customer complaints, and deviations. Maintain product traceability and documentation systems to ensure readiness for regulatory review. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred). 10+ years of quality leadership experience in the fragrance, flavor, food, cosmetic, or chemical industries. Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., IFRA, REACH, HACCP, FSMA, GMP, etc.). Proven experience building and scaling QMS programs. Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to manage complex problems and data-driven decision making. Experience with ERP, LIMS, and quality tracking systems preferred. What’s on Offer
