Hybrid (US-based, strong preference for DC Metro Area). In-person expectations include visits with customers, Salesforce offices, and Thunder offices in Tysons Corner, VA.
Role Summary The Data/Integration Engineer supports secure data migration, integration, and transformation activities in Salesforce Federal programs. This role ensures that data flows between Salesforce and Federal legacy systems are accurate, secure, and compliant.
Data Migration – Support secure migration of data into Salesforce Gov Cloud environments.
Integration – Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and Federal legacy systems.
Compliance – Ensure all data handling adheres to Federal security and compliance standards.
Collaboration – Partner with BAs, Developers, and Architects to support mission-critical integrations.
Responsibilities
Design and implement secure integrations using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
Plan and execute data migration activities in cleared Salesforce environments.
Ensure compliance with Federal data security requirements and standards.
Troubleshoot integration and data migration issues and implement solutions.
Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure data solutions meet program objectives.
Qualifications
3+ years of data engineering or integration experience with Salesforce or related systems.
Experience with APIs, ETL, and middleware tools (MuleSoft preferred).
Familiarity with Federal data compliance standards (FedRAMP, FISMA, ATO).
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Active Security Clearance required (Secret or higher).
Travel required as necessary.
