Business Process Improvement, Principal Associate

In this role, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for redesigning key business processes. We're looking for an experienced professional who can think strategically, influence stakeholders, and deliver measurable and lasting change. **Responsibilities**:***** Lead collaborative process improvement initiatives that are impactful to efficiency, risk, and client/associate experience* Document and analyze current state business processes and lead projects (creating process maps, process analytics, project reports, presentations, business cases, and project charters)* Redesign and optimize workflows/processes using analytical Lean Six Sigma principles/tools* Design future state business processes and controls that achieve and sustain desired outcomes* Lead workshops and brainstorming sessions to creatively design/facilitate solutions* Teach, facilitate, and coach Commercial Bank associates and leaders to achieve breakthrough improvements.* Teach process optimization tools (i.e. root cause analysis methods, FMEA) to your project team and the larger organization including why and how we use them.* Deliver presentations to peers and leaders, including up to the executive level.* Work on 3 or more projects at a time varying in size and complexity**You’d Thrive in This Role If You:**The ideal candidate is an experienced process improvement professional with a strong track record of delivering results and influencing change on complex projects.* You are a natural problem-solver, skilled at navigating ambiguity and breaking down complex issues into manageable, actionable steps.* You are a gifted communicator and facilitator, able to build strong relationships and generate consensus among diverse groups.* You are a "player-coach" who can both dive deep to execute on projects and help elevate the skills of those around you.* You are passionate about continuous improvement and motivated by empowering others to work more effectively.* You have deep experience in leading large-scale, cross-functional projects using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.**Basic Qualifications**:***** High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification* At least 3 years of process improvement experience* At least 3 years of experience managing project deliverables**Preferred Qualifications**:***** Bachelor’s Degree or military experience* Lean Six Sigma Certification or Prosci Certification* 4+ years of experience with data mining and analytical software (Minitab, Tableau, SQL, R, Snowflake)* 4+ years of experience in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs) or Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)***At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.*******#CommOps****Capital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial and other benefits that support your total well-being.
