1375 Crossman Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089 Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices. Develops custom data models to drive innovative business solutions. Builds complex data sets from multiple data sources, both internally and externally. Conducts advanced statistical analysis to determine trends and significant data relationships. Builds learning systems to analyze and filter continuous data flows and offline data analysis. Trains algorithms to apply models to new data sets; validates models and algorithmic techniques; scales new algorithms to large data sets. Combines data features to determine search models; researches new techniques and best practices within the industry. Utilizes system tools including MySQL, Hadoop, Weka, R, Matlab, and ILog. Analyses large data sets to develop custom models and algorithms to drive business solutions. Partners with cross-functional teams to support projects (for example, email targeting, business optimization, consumer recommendations) for Walmart eCommerce. Builds large data sets from multiple sources to develop algorithms for predicting future data characteristics; tests, validates, and applies these algorithms to large data sets; trains the algorithms for future data sets and relevant search results. Researches new trends in the industry and utilizes up-to-date technology (for example, HBase, MapReduce, LAPack, Gurobi) and analytical skills to support assigned projects. Works with cross-functional partners across the business to develop models of current state and determine needed improvements. Minimum education and experience

Option 1:

Master’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 1 year of experience in an analytics related field. Option 2:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years of experience in an analytics related field. Skills required

Experience implementing NLP techniques to derive insights from text data. Experience coding in Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling. Experience designing and implementing deep learning models including CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers using scikit-learn or TensorFlow. Experience implementing REST API using Python. Experience performing data manipulation and analysis using Pandas or dplyr. Experience performing data visualization via Matplotlib or ggplot. Experience implementing web scraping techniques using Beautiful Soup, Selenium, or Scrapy. Experience handling large volumes of data efficiently. Experience designing and implementing Data Augmentation techniques. Experience performing clustering and unsupervised techniques. Experience accurately and efficiently assigning relevant labels to different data points. Experience with Big Data technologies including Spark, Hive, and Hadoop. Employer will accept any amount of graduate coursework, graduate research experience or professional experience with the required skills. Salary

Salary Range:

$144,075/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives. Benefits
