Annapolis Junction, MD Clearance Required: TS/SCI with MD Polygraph Primary Responsibilities
Architect and deploy secure, high-performance network solutions Keep our LANs running smoothly with hands-on administration and troubleshooting Monitor and optimize dataflow to reduce latency and boost throughput Capture and analyze network performance data to drive improvements Configure and integrate front-end and back-end systems for seamless communication Collaborate on mission-driven network designs and architecture Translate performance metrics into actionable system requirements Requirements
An active and current TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph from the MD Customer is required to be considered. No CCA's will be accepted at this time. Experience in with IC/mission-critical environments Familiarity with enterprise-scale architecture and secure communications Strong troubleshooting instincts and a proactive mindset Comfort working independently and collaboratively under pressure Clear, concise documentation and communication skills A passion for making networks faster, smarter, and more secure Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution, plus 10 years of professional experience in Network Engineering support and training. OR Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field, plus 12 years of relevant experience. OR No degree, but 16 years of relevant Network Engineering experience, including a recognized industry certification such as: Juniper Certification Tracks (e.g., Automation & DevOps, Cloud, Data Center, Design, Enterprise Routing & Switching, Junos Security, Service Provider Routing & Switching) Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Arista Configuration Essentials An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level I baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required. In our 2023/24 employee survey, we earned a 92% Overall Workplace Experience Score and 100% of the employees across all departments agreed that they feel genuinely appreciated.
