Our client, an established organization within the building and services sector, is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive leadership team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a proven track record in construction or related project-based industries, who can balance strategic vision with hands-on financial management. What you will be doing
Develop and execute financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting to support profitable growth. Oversee accounting functions and ensure compliance with industry standards and GAAP. Manage banking, bonding, insurance, and credit relationships on behalf of the organization. Partner with operations and project teams on job costing, work-in-progress analysis, and margin performance. Identify financial risks and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Mentor and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team. What you must have
Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred (Bachelor’s with extensive industry experience will be considered). 10+ years of senior-level financial leadership in construction, contracting, or related project-based industries. Strong understanding of construction accounting practices, cash flow management, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition. Demonstrated success in managing financial relationships with banks, insurers, and surety partners. Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills. Other Information
