Job Overview – Fixed Income Sales Associate: Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000/year + bonus Location: New York, NY Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office) Our client is hiring a Fixed Income Sales Associate in New York, NY. This role focuses on managing institutional client relationships, distributing fixed income securities, and delivering tailored investment strategies. You will collaborate with trading, research, and syndicate teams to provide market insights, generate trade ideas, and expand distribution opportunities. Candidates should have sell-side sales experience, strong fixed income knowledge, and the ability to drive client engagement and revenue growth. Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain institutional client relationships across fixed income markets. Product Distribution:
Execute new issue and secondary market transactions to drive sales and revenue growth. Collaboration:
Partner with trading, research, and syndicate teams to deliver trade ideas, market color, and maximize distribution. Investment Recommendations:
Provide tailored trade solutions aligned with client objectives, risk tolerance, and market conditions. Market Expertise:
Maintain deep knowledge of macroeconomic trends, credit markets, and fixed income product developments. Portfolio Monitoring:
Track client portfolios to identify cross-selling opportunities and expand wallet share. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field required. Experience: 1-3 years of sell-side fixed income sales experience required, with preferred exposure to high-yield and distressed products. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint with strong analytical and modeling abilities. Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of credit markets, fixed income securities, and institutional sales processes. Skills & Attributes:
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a detail-oriented, motivated, client-focused approach and proven problem-solving ability. Application Notice
