is seeking an

Integration and Testing Engineer

to join our team in

San Diego, CA . The I&T Engineer will support the integration and test of networked communication systems across multiple programs.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, testing procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Configure systems to support prototype development and functional testing of new technologies.

Develop and document troubleshooting steps and temporary solutions for known issues.

Perform testing on systems and subsystems to validate functionality and performance.

Review technical documentation and provide input on system design, testing plans, and network architecture.

Install and configure Windows and Linux servers, including DNS, Exchange, and Active Directory services.

Manage virtualized environments and ensure stability and performance.

Deploy, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, servers, and firewalls; resolve network-related issues.

Capture system images and deploy them across environments as needed.

Qualifications

Over four years of hands-on experience in IT, including system testing, networking, and infrastructure support.

Familiar with Department of Defense (DoD) systems, including secure computing and radio communications.

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as routing, switching, protocols, VLANs, IP addressing, LAN/WAN architecture, and subnetting.

Highly proficient in both Linux and Windows operating systems, with experience in server and desktop environments.

Strong grasp of automation tools and implementation strategies to streamline system operations and deployments.

Working knowledge on network security devices (e.g. firewall, NGFW, IPS, IDS)

Working knowledge on event management systems (e.g. ISE, Splunk, SolarWinds)

Tactical Data Link familiarity (e.g. CDL, TTNT, L-16, SADL, etc.)

Live field testing, experience with military communication systems highly desired

Automation, scripting, or other development experience in either Python or JavaScript

Knowledge of Containerized Virtual Environments is highly desired

Experience developing scripts in ansible is desired

Demonstrate knowledge in using various testing methodologies Agile and Scrum and logging results using solutions such as JIRA and or Confluence

Must have an Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Compensation

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 depending on experience
