. Employment Status: Part Time Compensation:

This is a hourly position, paid bi-weekly. Schedule:

Part Time, 2-3 days per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm 401(k) Plan Requirements

The

Clinical Psychologist

must have and meet the following: Qualification:

Must be a psychologist or psychiatrist licensed in at least one state in the United States. Professional background:

Psychiatrists or Neurologists must be board certified or have completed a 2-year residency with either specialty Education:

Psychologists must obtain a PhD or PsyD with a Major in Psychology; Specialty studies must focus on the adult population such as Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology (or a combination of these). Child-focused psychology programs are not acceptable. Education:

Psychologists must have graduated from a doctorate or post-doctorate APA-accredited program. Certification:

Active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Additional expectations: Demonstrates compassion and professionalism and a commitment to providing excellent service and care. Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and using EMR and platforms. Skilled in professional communication, critical thinking, and informed-care decision-making. Works independently and can manage time to provide a quality service while meeting set deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in clinical settings; Prior VA or C&P experience Job Summary

Review pertinent mental health history documentation and provide one-time, non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pensions exams for Veterans. The Clinical Psychologist will capture responses during the exam through a web-based examination form(s); all documentation will be completed electronically. Completed exams are sent to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations. Common reasons for assessment are PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. Matrix Providers will never request any form of payment from candidates in exchange for consideration for employment.
