Department: Translational Research Position Summary: TCG Labs-Soleil is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Senior Research Associate
to join our Bioanalytical Sciences team. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in the development, and execution of ligand binding assays to support non-clinical pharmacokinetics (PK), anti-drug antibody (ADA), and biomarker assessments. This lab-based role will focus on method development, troubleshooting, reagent labeling, and bioanalysis of preclinical samples, with an emphasis on data quality, reproducibility, and scientific integrity. Responsibilities: Design, develop, optimize, and qualify ligand binding assays (LBA) for: Immunogenicity (ADA) Biomarker detection (exploratory and translational) Perform non-clinical sample analysis in support of discovery and development programs. Troubleshoot assay performance issues, implement improvements, and document method changes. Conduct critical reagent labeling including biotinylation, conjugation. Maintain precise records of all laboratory work in electronic lab notebooks (ELNs) and ensure compliance with internal quality systems. Analyze and present data to project teams. Work collaboratively across departments, including Research, Nonclinical Development, and Translational Sciences. Qualifications: BS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, or related field with: BS + 5 years or MS + 3 years of relevant hands-on industry experience in a bioanalytical or immunoassay setting. Strong experience with ligand binding assays for PK, ADA, and biomarker applications. Proficiency with MSD (ECL-based platforms) and ELISA for immunoassays. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and improve assay performance. Experience with non-clinical sample matrices (e.g., rodent, NHP plasma or serum). Expertise in reagent labeling and qualification (biotinylation, fluorophore conjugation). Excellent laboratory documentation and organizational skills. Preferred: Experience with Gyrolab or other automated immunoassay platforms is a strong plus. Knowledge of regulatory bioanalytical guidelines (FDA, EMA). Experience working in a GLP or GxP-adjacent environment.
