Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP EAM Consultant. As a Principal Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluate solution options, and make recommendations. You will plan configuration activities, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots, and assist in resolving queries related to requirements and solution design. You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops, and prepare effort estimates that fit the customer budget and align with the organization’s financial guidelines. You will also support knowledge transfer to provide value-adding consulting solutions for clients to meet evolving needs in the global landscape. Responsibilities
Plan activities across the program for design, configuration and build, testing, deployment and go-live. Configure SAP EAM as per design and conduct conference room pilots; assist with requirements and solution design queries. Lead solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops, and engage business SMEs in domain and technology conversations specific to Electric Utilities & SAP. Evaluate solution options/recommendations with the client for scope changes and prepare effort estimates aligned with customer budgets and financial guidelines. Translate business needs into solution architecture requirements and understand long-term and short-term IT perspectives. Deliver projects following Agile methodology and collaborate with offshore teams (onsite-offshore coordination). Apply knowledge of Master Data (Functional Location, Equipment, Class & Characteristics, Work Center, Task List, Revision, Measuring Points, etc.) and Work Management within SAP PM; integrate with third-party tools as needed. Lead end-to-end EAM workstream design across SAP with integrations to GIS, scheduling, mobility (SSAM), SAP APM, and other systems. Facilitate business workshops and conference room pilots for requirements gathering, design, and mapping; resolve related questions. Manage stakeholder communications, reporting, and alignment with business goals and objectives. Demonstrate ability to translate business needs into solution requirements and understand both short-term and long-term IT implications. Maintain knowledge of SAP EAM functionalities and cross-workstream integration; stay informed on technology enablers such as BTP, clean core concepts, RISE with SAP, and automation. Collaborate with offshore teams and ensure effective delivery between onsite and offshore locations. Possess strong client-facing and communication/presentation skills; strong analytical skills for advanced data analysis. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent; three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education may be considered. At least 11 years of information technology experience. Location: Pomona, CA. This position may require travel to project/client locations. All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications At least 11 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance/Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) implementation and support programs. Experience in Electric Utilities (preferred), or Gas or Water Utilities industries in North America. Experience implementing SAP S/4HANA programs in complex environments. Experience leading end-to-end solution design for the EAM workstream with SAP and integrations to third-party applications (GIS, scheduling, mobility, SAP APM, etc.). Knowledge of SAP EAM functionalities and cross-workstream integration. Knowledge of latest technology enablers such as SAP BTP, Clean Core concepts, RISE with SAP, and automation. Involvement in business workshops and conference room pilots for requirement gathering, design, and mapping; ability to resolve requirement queries. Ability to deliver projects following Agile methodology and collaborate with offshore teams. Deep understanding of Master Data concepts (Functional Location, Equipment, Class & Characteristics, Work Center, Task List, Revision, Measuring Points) and Maintenance processes (Notification Management, Maintenance Orders, Preventive, Breakdown, Corrective, and Calibration). Experience in SAP PM integrations with third-party tools. Experience with Intelligent Asset Management solutions (FSM, SSAM, APM) is desirable but not mandatory. Experience in at least 3 end-to-end lifecycle implementations, including: requirements gathering, business process design, SAP configuration, RICEFW design, testing, and production issue resolution.
