Now Brewing – engineer principal – Supply Chain Technology! The role leads the future technology stack for Starbucks Supply Chain Technology across manufacturing, sourcing, demand and replenishment planning, warehouse management, and transportation systems. The position involves creating an application and vendor rationalization roadmap to streamline software supporting the end-to-end supply chain and position Starbucks to leverage the latest technologies for a competitive advantage. Responsibilities

Analyze technical landscape across all applications supporting each supply chain team and determine the go-forward path for application and technology stack rationalization. Play a key role in the development of a 3-year road map for supply chain technology. Serve as principal advisor to Supply Chain Technology leadership on emerging technologies. Identify and lead technical innovation in engineering for Global Supply Chain. Share, educate and promote engineering discipline to support long-term growth for Global Supply Chain. Required Qualifications

10+ years experience as an industry leader in emerging technologies for Global Supply Chain Strategic plan development and implementation Strong business acumen and proven cross-functional leadership and change management Progressive experience managing varied projects involving capital equipment or technical innovation Preferred Qualifications

20+ years of experience in supply chain within a retail company developing, architecting, and supporting applications which require a high degree of availability. Extensive experience supporting on-prem infrastructure and building and managing infra on the cloud. Infrastructure as code: Developed automated infrastructure deployment and automated code pipelines. Versatile with backend technologies like Oracle, Hadoop, Teradata, DB2, Databricks Experience in one of the cloud environments: AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle. Experience migrating applications from on-prem to cloud environment. Developed API’s and applications using Java, exposure to Python and UI frameworks like React. Experience implementing relational databases and data models and optimizing and scaling systems based on them. Experience with enterprise workload automation systems (e.g., Control-M). Experience with multiple development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum). EEO and Accommodations
