Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow across production lines. Lead, mentor, and manage shop personnel to meet production goals and maintain quality standards. Make proactive adjustments to production plans to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime. Coordinate staffing needs, including interviewing and hiring new team members as needed. Collaborate with project management and leadership teams to align production with project timelines. Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials and safety equipment are readily available. Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment. Operate forklifts and assist with material handling as needed. Maintain detailed records of production, staffing, and safety compliance. Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or construction environment. Proven leadership experience in managing teams in a shop or industrial setting. Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members. Strong decision-making skills with the ability to visualize workflow and make real-time adjustments. Forklift experience required. High School diploma or GED required. Must be reliable, career-driven, and eager to grow with the company. Benefits
