Job Summary We are seeking a motivated AI Solutions Developer & Data Engineering Analyst in a hybrid role that combines practical AI solution development with hands-on data engineering support. You’ll spend half your time building AI-powered solutions using modern low-code/no-code platforms, and the other half supporting our analytics team with BigQuery data warehouse operations and Domo integrations. This position offers exposure to both emerging AI technologies and foundational data engineering practices. What You’ll Be Working On AI Solution Development (50%) Build custom AI agents and copilots using Microsoft 365 Copilot Studio, Agent Builder, and Power Platform Create and deploy custom GPTs and AI assistants tailored to specific departmental needs Develop automated workflows integrating AI capabilities into existing business processes Design and refine prompts for optimal performance across different AI models and use cases Document prompt patterns and best practices for team knowledge sharing Configure and customize pre-built AI models for document processing and content generation Write and optimize SQL queries in BigQuery to support analyst requests and reporting needs Maintain and troubleshoot data pipelines between BigQuery and Domo Create and update Domo datasets, dataflows, and ETL processes Assist analysts with complex query development and performance optimization Document data transformations and maintain data dictionary for key tables Monitor data quality and implement basic data validation checks Schedule and automate recurring data refreshes and report generation Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions Provide hands-on support for both AI tools and data platform users Create documentation bridging AI solutions with underlying data infrastructure Identify opportunities to enhance analytics workflows with AI capabilities Conduct training sessions on both query writing and AI tool usage How You’ll Excel In Your Role Bachelor’s degree in any field with demonstrated interest in technology, data, or AI 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, IT, or a technical role Proficiency in SQL with experience writing complex queries (joins, CTEs, window functions) Hands-on experience with at least one AI platform (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini) Experience with business intelligence tools (Domo, Tableau, Power BI, or similar) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with non-technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Direct experience with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform Experience with Domo administration, Magic ETL, or Domo Workflows Microsoft Power Platform experience (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) Familiarity with Copilot Studio or similar no-code AI development platforms Basic Python knowledge for data manipulation and API integrations Understanding of data warehouse concepts (dimensional modeling, slowly changing dimensions) Experience with prompt engineering techniques and LLM behavior Technical Skills BigQuery : Dataset management, scheduled queries, cost optimization Domo : Dataset creation, Magic ETL, dataflows, beast modes AI & Automation AI Platforms : Copilot Studio, ChatGPT Enterprise, custom GPT creation Automation Tools : Power Automate, basic workflow design Prompt Engineering : System prompts, few-shot learning, chain-of-thought prompting Integration : REST APIs, webhooks, pre-built connectors What Makes You Successful Ability to context-switch effectively between AI development and data engineering tasks Curiosity about both emerging AI capabilities and data architecture best practices Detail-oriented approach to data quality and AI output validation Self-starter who can manage competing priorities from multiple stakeholders Patience for supporting users with varying technical backgrounds Pragmatic mindset focused on delivering working solutions over perfect architecture This role provides a unique foundation for career growth in multiple directions: Advanced into senior data engineering or data architecture roles Specialize in AI/ML engineering and MLOps Move into analytics engineering or analytics management Develop into a technical product manager for data and AI products We are not able to offer sponsorship for this role now or in the future. This is an exempt position and is not eligible for overtime compensation.
