Company: Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits Job Title: Enterprise Architect, Customer Journey Locations: 2300 SW 145th Avenue, Miramar, FL 33027; 14911 Quorum Drive, Dallas, TX 75254 Duties
Establish the technology direction for the enterprise, including the overall integration of software applications and programs. Develop and coordinate information technology (IT) architecture plans. Coordinate all enterprise architecture and governance activities. Facilitate strategic sessions at an executive level and recommend architectural approaches through presentations. Serve as an expert in application development, database design, and/or platform (operating system) efforts, ensuring project teams comply with enterprise and IT policies, industry regulations, and best practices. Lead the design and development of complex, scalable, and highly available system architectures, including cloud-based solutions, considering performance, security, and future scalability needs. Integrate diverse hardware and software components into a cohesive system, ensuring seamless data flow and compatibility across platforms. Work with Solution Architects and Solution Engineers to ensure solutions throughout all IT systems and platforms adhere to the enterprise architecture and to mitigate identified risks. Stay up to date on best practices and new technologies and solutions, including AI, GenAI, ML, IoT, supply chain optimization, and digital transformation. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to computer engineers, leading the technical direction of complex projects. May telecommute but must reside near Miramar, Florida, headquarters or Dallas, Texas, office. Requires up to 20% domestic travel. Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or related field; plus 12 years of experience in IT. Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), client-side/server-side technologies (React, React Native, JavaScript, GraphQL, Apollo, Java with Spring, or Node.js), GenAI, and AI/ML application architecture. Experience with developing enterprise-grade applications leveraging business, data application/solution, platform, and security architecture principles. Experience with building relationships, influencing executives, translating business strategies into information strategies, and creating comprehensive architecture artifacts documenting design decisions and system interactions.
