As the Director of Engineering, Growth at Figma, you will lead a cross-functional organization focused on accelerating Figma's business across the entire customer journey-from first touch to enterprise expansion. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone excited to scale product-led and enterprise growth strategies, build infrastructure to support fast experimentation, and shape the company's next stage of growth. You'll partner closely with Product, Design, Data, Marketing, and Sales to build an engineering organization that's obsessed with learning, experimentation, and delivering customer value at scale. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States. What you'll do
Build and lead a multi-team organization responsible for the user journey through acquisition, activation, upgrades, expansion as well as platform teams that support these teams and cross functional partners like growth-platform, marketing tech platform Set strategic direction and ensure alignment with company-wide priorities Scale teams through recruiting, org design, and mentorship of engineering leaders and ICs Champion a strong engineering culture rooted in inclusivity, velocity, and technical excellence Drive measurable outcomes through experimentation, analytics, and customer insights Collaborate with executive stakeholders to identify new growth vectors and ensure platform leverage Support Figma’s commitment to building an inclusive and diverse team and culture through hiring, community events, and other programs in partnership with teams across all of Figma Qualifications
8+ years of engineering leadership experience, including at least 2 years of experience managing senior managers and scaling multi-team orgs Deep experience in product-led growth, growth experimentation, and analytics Proven track record of building systems that support personalization, targeting, or A/B testing at scale Ability to partner deeply with Product, Design, Marketing, and Go-To-Market functions Passion for building inclusive teams that deliver customer impact and iterate quickly Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in cross-functional settings Nice to have
Experience supporting sales-assisted or enterprise monetization flows Familiarity with marketing infrastructure, data pipelines, and growth tooling Successful track record of launching and growing new product offerings Experience in global growth or international expansion Pay Transparency and benefits

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including qualifications assessed during the interview process, market demands, and location. The listed range is a guideline and may be modified. For remote roles, pay is localized by location. Annual Base Salary Range (SF/NY Hub): $316,000 — $381,000 USD. Figma offers equity and a competitive benefits package, including health, dental & vision, retirement with company contribution, parental leave & reproductive/family planning support, mental health & wellness benefits, generous PTO, recharge days, a learning & development stipend, work-from-home stipend, and cell phone reimbursement. Sales incentive pay is available for most sales roles and an annual bonus plan for eligible non-sales roles. Compensation and benefits are subject to change.
