DevOps Engineer / Principal DevOps Engineer . This position will be located in

and will support the Sentinel program. What you get to do
The selected DevOps/Principal DevOps Engineer will provide support for the Sentinel program. The selected candidate will support the Software Infrastructure team to develop and deploy Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capability. In this role, the DevOps Engineer will architect system requirements and model the Physical and Logical architecture to facilitate design, collaborating with engineers across disciplines throughout development. Additionally, the DevOps Engineer determines required COTS tools and functionality necessary to support requirements. The DevOps team is responsible for the security governance, risk management, and compliance of a system while it is being engineered for our customers. Working knowledge of Cybersecurity technologies, NIST standards, and RMF governance across multiple phases of a Medium to large program General understanding for Database design and implementation Hands on experience with Python and/or PowerShell scripting Some experience with general Cybersecurity activities such as secure configuration/hardening of DoD Information Systems, system audit configuration, capture, analysis, cybersecurity configurations such as Firmware updates/upgrades and STIGs to a baselined system, and risk reduction The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Engineer DevOps:
Bachelor’s in relevant field of study and 2 years of related experience; Master’s in relevant field of study and 0 years of related experience; Or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Principal Engineer DevOps:
Bachelor’s in relevant field of study and 5 years of related experience; Master’s in relevant field of study and 3 years of related experience; PhD with one year of related experience or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Required for both levels: Certifications: Current Security+ or equivalent certification or greater or ability to obtain, within 6 months or less of hire, DoD 8570 / AFMAN 17-1303 qualification at IASAE 3 level Clearance: Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope and ability to obtain SAP access within reasonable amount of time Proficient in relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) with expertise in SQL, database design, optimization, and data integrity through normalization Skilled in non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) Experience with time-series databases (e.g., InfluxDB, TimescaleDB) Familiar with data service architectures and microservices that enable access to and integration of diverse data sources across applications Experience administering, integrating, and maintaining Data Services as part of the platform toolchain Experience configuring hardware, services, and managing settings and storage Deep knowledge of Windows and Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning with proven automation/coding experience Experience with hypervisors such as ESXi, Harvester, Hyper-V, etc. Preferred Qualifications

Salary Range: $85,400.00 - $128,000.00 Salary Range 2: $105,400.00 - $158,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
