We are seeking a highly motivated and technically curious individual to join our team as a
Solution Architect/Sales Engineer . In this role, you will be a key player in the pre-sales process, working alongside our sales teams to design and present innovative technology solutions for our Global Enterprise customers. You will engage with customers, understand their business challenges, and translate those needs into comprehensive and compelling technical proposals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundational understanding of networking technologies who is eager to grow their career in a dynamic and customer-facing technical role.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Consultation: Work directly with customers to understand their business and technical requirements. Solution Design: Architect and design technical solutions leveraging a broad portfolio of wireline and wireless technologies, including: Wireline network infrastructure (e.g., Ethernet, MPLS, SD-WAN) 4G/5G Fixed Wireless Access & IoT Private wireless networks Managed services Security solutions Network as a Service (NaaS) Technical Presentations: Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to both business and technical audiences. Proposal Development: Contribute to the creation of technical proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Collaboration: Partner with account managers, product teams, and engineering to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with customer needs. Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline) or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of professional experience in a technical role, such as network engineering, systems integration, or pre-sales support. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., technical support, sales engineering, or consulting). Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar are a plus. Direct experience with designing or deploying solutions for enterprise or public sector clients. Familiarity with sales processes and customer relationship management (CRM) tools. Experience with a broad range of telecommunications or IT services. Where you’ll be working
In this mobile role, you’ll primarily work from customer or field location(s), with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings. Compensation and Schedule
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Newly hired employees may receive up to 15 days of vacation per year, which grows with additional service.
