Sr Electrical Engineer at our San Diego (Otay Mesa) location . This role is eligible for a referral bonus. Preferred experience for this role
Designs and develops new brushed and multiphase brushless DC electric motors. Improves existing designs to reduce cost, improve performance or manufacturability. Conducts detailed reviews of customer specifications. Prepares or directs preparation of product and/or system layout and detailed drawings and schematics. Performs design experiments related to motor designs and develops test methods, from concept to planning and execution stage. Directs and coordinates manufacturing and testing of prototype products and/or systems. Assist in trouble shooting prototype building and/or production when necessary. Conducts motor performance predictions by analyses of actual data and through the development of design related algorithms in addition to the existing methods. May act as project engineer support on selected projects. Interface with customers for as required to support existing products or for new development opportunities. Major Position Responsibilities

Performs extensive testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability, performance, and safety standards are achieved. $84,854.00 - $157,586.00 Pay Transparency Statement
The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
