The Role At Andesite, we are building a product suite to supercharge cybersecurity analysts. As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing our application frontend systems that enable cybersecurity analysts to extract maximum value from data sources for our next-generation product. What You Will Do
Build and Innovate: Lead the design and development of sophisticated and intuitive user interfaces for our product. Translate complex user requirements into elegant, user-friendly frontend experiences. Set the Bar for Engineering Excellence: As a senior technical leader, establish best practices for frontend development, ensuring high-quality, performant, and reliable code. Advocate for modern frontend technologies and patterns. Lead Design & Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers and designers to define and refine user experiences, shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our data products. Mentor & Elevate the Team: Guide and mentor junior frontend engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence. Cross-Functional Impact: Contribute to API and backend development and partner with teammates building those components. Apply understanding of frontend and data systems to deliver integrated solutions. Required Qualifications
Passion for delivering products that delight customers using next-generation AI technology Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 8 years of frontend development experience with modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte), including at least 4 years in React Experience building responsive, scalable frontends and APIs with strong data structures, algorithms, and software design knowledge Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in an early-stage (Seed / Series A) startup Proficiency in backend/infrastructure development, especially Python What We Can Offer
