Client Account Consultant
to support our Executive Benefits team. What you can expect
Manage multiple complex clients with various product lines and large scope insurance programs related to Executive and/or Supplemental Life and Individual Disability Insurance. Work with clients, insurance carriers and internal partners to execute work and resolve escalated issues to ensure timely and strategic delivery. Apply project and change management best practices, such as Lean Six Sigma, to identify opportunities for system and/or process efficiencies. We will count on you
Manage the delivery of services and day-to-day client needs to retain accounts, establish strong client relationships and achieve high levels of client satisfaction. Administrative services include, but are not limited to: billing, enrollment, communications, participant inquiries, policy changes, benefit calculations, etc. Maintain and expand client relationships by analyzing, communicating and identifying coverage gaps, ensuring that a client’s risk is managed optimally. Identify important business needs of the client and assist with achieving objectives by effectively communicating with the Mercer Executive Benefit Consultant. Manage escalated participant issues with the Business Analyst and/or Insurance Carrier regarding systemic or process issues with global impact to the client or book of business. Recognize and manage the risk to protect the firm from Errors and Omissions (E&O). Execute all cyclical event processing. What you need to have
College degree or equivalent work experience required 5+ years of professional experience in a client-facing capacity, with insurance and business knowledge required; minimum of two years client relationship experience preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver timely and accurate work products with a strong customer service focus, and respond with urgency as required Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal and external customers Appropriate license must be obtained for the position What makes you stand out
University degree (BA, MA, MBA) or equivalent Prior experience administering Corporate Owned Life Insurance and/or Individually Owned Life or Disability Insurance Life and Health License Strong Excel experience About Mercer and our commitments
