Job Description Summary The HR Onboarding Specialist provides administrative support across core HR functions, with a high focus in onboarding. Responsibilities may include data entry, record maintenance, auditing, and assistance with compliance and process regulation. This role helps ensure accurate and timely HR processes and effective delivery of programs while supporting both new employees and management.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
Performs clerical and administrative tasks to support HR operations and projects.
Completes routine data entry, report generation, and audit activities to ensure the accuracy of HR records and compliance with regulatory standards.
Coordinates delivery on HR processes with a focus in onboarding.
Provides administrative support to one or more human resources functions, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, training, equal employment opportunity, and/or employee records.
Processes HR department applications, including employment and enrollment applications; maintains employment records, and compiles statistics for various HR management reports.
Conduct high volume pre-employment processing, including but not limited to; check references, background check, health and license checks required for compliance, new hire paperwork while responding to routine questions on HR policy.
Assists and provides support across core HR functions such as leave of absence and benefit tracking.
Must adhere to the company attendance and reliability guidelines, which are an essential function of the job to ensure quality and consistent patient care.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support departmental and organizational objectives.
The incumbent may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those stated.
Position Qualifications
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Strong professional presence, and strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Excellent understanding of performance improvement, quality assurance, and utilization management.
Ability to work well with others, function well under pressure, and work independently.
Demonstrates excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.
At least one year of experience within Human Resources and healthcare industry preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The ability to sit frequently for 3-6 hours.
The ability to frequently stand for 3-6 hours.
The ability to occasionally drive/ operate foot control for 1-3 hours.
The ability to walk intermittently on level and or unlevel surface for less than 1 hour.
The ability to intermittently bend or climb for less than 1 hour.
The ability to occasionally twist, kneel, crouch and crawl for 1-3 hours.
The ability to lift 10 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours.
The ability to lift 11-50 pounds intermittently for less than 1 hour.
The ability to carry up to 10 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours.
The ability to carry 11-50 pounds intermittently for less than 1 hour.
The ability to push up to 10 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours.
The ability to push 11-50 pounds intermittently for less than 1 hour.
The ability to pull up to 10 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours.
