Overview

As a member of Electronic Warfare Cyber and Information Warfare (ECIW) Business Development (BD) team, the Global Business Development & Strategy Sr. Manager will lead the strategy and pursuit of new business opportunities for the Common / Airborne EW sub-market segment, including DOD markets domestically and internationally. The role supports the ECIW business strategy, grows the pipeline, and captures new business in partnership with the Strategy and Business Development market segment Director. This individual will support RMS C6ISR ECIW BD market segment growth objectives and develop focused ECIW market strategies across LM’s Airborne product lines and future capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead the pursuit of Common EW / Airborne EW opportunities to grow the domestic and international pipeline.

Serve as the BD lead for the Common/Airborne EW Submarket Segment P&L Director within the ECIW Market Segment.

Execute New Business Updates aligned with C4ISR and higher-level New Business Reviews (NBR).

Collaborate with Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) on Long Range Plan (LRP) orders, updates, and execution coordinated with P&L Points of Contact.

Interface with industry partners to develop teaming strategies, and lead actions in accordance with LM policies.

Represent ECIW on IPTs, Working Groups, Campaigns, and cross-BA BD synchronization efforts.

Collaborate with Engineering & Technology and Program Director to drive common architectures and synergies across product lines.

Lead integration with other LM Business Areas to develop focused ECIW market strategies and support long-range planning; enhance relationships with Aero and MFC for EW capabilities on their platforms.

Partner with LMGA, Global BD & Strategy, CE&T, Corporate Treasury, and others as required.

Evolve BD organization and develop leaders to support growth.

Establish measures of effectiveness: identify/qualify/shape/win new business; develop growth strategies; grow pipeline; capture profitable new business; build internal and external teams; penetrate new/adjacent markets.

Manage portfolio and personnel; support customer engagement (contact plans, workshops, demonstrations, requirements), maintain current business, identify opportunities, respond to proposals, and close new orders; focus on IC and DoD growth.

Provide conference and trade show leadership for the RMS ECIW BD Organization; coordinate with Lockheed Martin groups as required.

Establish and execute win and growth strategies and investment plans.

Location Position located at Owego, New York or Washington, DC.

Basic Qualifications

Active Secret clearance (minimum); DoD experience; prior people and resource management experience.

15+ years of business development and/or operational experience.

Strong technical and operational understanding of electronic warfare across fixed/rotary air platforms and munitions.

Understanding of US Intelligence Community and military strategy; experience with select allied countries.

Ability to work autonomously in a highly competitive environment.

Desired Skills

Domestic experience with US Navy, Missile Defense Agency, US Air Force, US Army, and Space Command; international experience with Japan, UK, Canada, Korea, Australia, New Zealand.

DOD Acquisition experience; RF domain experience including passive sensing and electronic attack technologies.

Understanding of LM/RMS Win Plan; competitive source selection experience (OTA and FAR); successful cross-functional capture team leadership.

Strategic thinker with strong understanding of Airborne markets and established customer relationships.

Advanced business acumen; ability to bridge strategy to actionable objectives and progress metrics.

Strong leadership and relationship-building skills; ability to influence and form partnerships; cross-geo collaboration.

Exceptional communication skills at all levels; ability to prepare and present concise reports and briefings.

Security clearance: Secret required; Top Secret preferred.

Security and Other Information This position requires a government security clearance; US citizenship is required. Telework: part-time remote; some work at a Lockheed Martin facility with schedule discussed during hiring. Schedule: 4x10-hour days; pay and benefits are aligned with LM policy. This position is eligible for incentive plans.
