Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation/Neuro Opportunity in Redwood City, CA Seeking a BC/BE PM&R physician with a focus on Neuro. The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. (TPMG - Kaiser Permanente Northern California) is one of the largest medical groups in the nation with a long-standing tradition of providing quality medical care. Responsibilities
Inpatient neuro consultation service (0.5 FTE) and outpatient PM&R clinic (0.2 FTE); 0.7 FTE total, located at Redwood City Medical Center. Collaborate with inpatient therapists, physicians, and the inpatient team to provide high quality, coordinated rehabilitation for regional stroke and neurosurgery center patients; ensure patient and family-centered care and smooth transitions of rehabilitation and caregiver support. PM&R clinic: see 9–16 patients per day (in person and video/telephone); basic level EMG/Nerve conduction studies required; opportunity for Botox and Intrathecal Baclofen pump management; in-clinic ultrasound-guided procedures. Support inpatient neuro consultation service and participate in outpatient neuro, EMG/NCS, and spine practice. Some call coverage by phone from home on weekends; no overnight call. Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with a focus on Neuro. Basic level EMG/NCS required. Benefits
