Overview

Quality Control Manager role at Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) within Stampede Ventures. The candidate will perform all facets of the Bering Straits East Coast model, including safety and quality control management, submittal tracking, daily reporting, communicating deficiencies to the customer, and managing multiple sites. The position supports a current DoD contract and may be extended to additional contracts as workload requires. Responsibilities

Manage safety and quality control programs on DoD construction projects. Track submittals and provide daily reporting; communicate deficiencies to the customer. Read drawings/prints and oversee project updates to customers, subcontractors, and internal teams. Ensure compliance with OSHA and EM-385 requirements; enforce corporate or site quality control programs. Oversee multi-trade construction aspects (electrical, HVAC, Fire Alarm, Fire Suppression, architectural, etc.). Coordinate management of task order projects in the Washington DC region; supervise or support multiple sites as needed. Maintain knowledge of local vendors and subcontractors; manage relationships with Federal government and DoD customers when applicable. Qualifications

Minimum of three years’ experience as a quality control manager on industrial or commercial projects; or 10+ years in related work with a relevant degree (BS in engineering, architecture, or construction management) and 5 years of construction Contractor Quality Control management experience. USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) training completed within the past 5 years. ICD/ICS 705 training (in-person, minimum 32 hours) with examination; certificate of completion within 90 days of hire. Experience on projects exceeding $500,000 (HVAC and electrically heavy projects) and experience working with USACE. US citizenship; OSHA 30 certification (can be obtained after employment); valid driver’s license; current or ability to obtain security clearance. Current favorable National Agency Check with Inquiry (NACI) per AR 380-67 or equivalent, and ability to obtain access to military bases. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Organizational skills and excellent communication; ability to treat people with respect and uphold ethical standards. Knowledge of local vendors and subcontractors; ability to work with diverse teams. Strong documentation, reporting, and coordination abilities; capable of maintaining project updates and client communications. Physical and Other Requirements

Ability to perform essential functions with reasonable accommodations as needed. Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds; may work on job sites with exposure to varied weather conditions. Company Information
